Takao san and fire festival

This is the final update of the Mt. Takao hike this Sunday, March 10.
This Sunday will be sunny so that the hike will be as planned!

Here are the participants:
Yunosuke (car, 4; maximam 5)

Kenneth
Lea (from Tokyo to Tsukuba)

Please gather at Tsukuba station at 5:30.
Transportation will cost 3500-4000 yen per person (including parking fee).

What to bring: Your breakfast and lunch, water, etc. (You can also buy on Mt. Takao)
What to wear: Hiking boots, clothes according to the weather.
Club fee is 300 yen, as usual.

Outline of the schedule is below:
5:30 Tsukuba station
8:00 Takaisanguchu station (Start point Mt. Takao)
Climb up by foot or cable car
(if you want to walk on the fire, using a cable car is better)
10:30 Summit of Mt. Takao
Climb down by foot or cable car
13:00 Start the fire festival
There is Plum Blossom Festival near here (We can go if we have time)

Mt. Takao is one of 100 Famous mountains of Kanto. The Fire walk festival will be held on 10th March.

It is a car-based trip. It should take about two and a half hours to reach. We depart Tsukuba at 5:30 AM.
